Atlassian Statuspage starts at $29/mo. You have options.
A status page shouldn't cost more than your monitoring tool.
Here's what's available in 2026, from free to paid.
Atlassian Statuspage is the most recognized name in status pages. It works. But it costs $29/mo for the Startup plan (1 page, 250 subscribers) and $399/mo for Business. For many teams, that's hard to justify for what is fundamentally a simple page that shows green or red dots.
The other issue: Statuspage is just a status page. It doesn't monitor anything. You still need a separate monitoring tool to detect outages, then manually update Statuspage or wire up an integration. That's two bills, two dashboards, two logins.
Several alternatives now bundle monitoring and status pages together, which means your status page updates automatically when monitoring detects an issue.

A Statuspage competitor built specifically to be simpler and cheaper. Instatus gives you a clean status page with subscriber notifications, integrations, and custom domains. Plans start at $20/mo.
Instatus is a status page only. No monitoring. You'll still need a separate tool to detect outages, then update Instatus via their API or integrations. Good option if you want a purpose-built status page for less than Statuspage's $29/mo.
Better Stack bundles uptime monitoring, incident management, on-call scheduling, and status pages. The free tier includes 10 monitors and 1 status page. Paid plans start at $29/mo.
If your team needs incident management workflows alongside a status page, Better Stack is worth the price. The combination of monitoring + incidents + status pages in one tool is compelling, especially for teams with on-call rotations.
Cachet is an open-source status page system written in PHP. It's free to use but you host it yourself. You get full control over the design and data, plus there are no subscriber limits or monthly fees.
The trade-off is maintenance. You need a server, you need to keep it updated, and you need to make sure the status page itself stays online. If your main server goes down and your status page runs on the same infrastructure, your users see nothing. Also, no monitoring is included.
UptimeRobot includes a basic status page on its free plan. You get 50 monitors with 5-minute checks and 1 status page. Paid plans from $7/mo add more pages and custom domains.
Good option if you primarily want monitoring and the status page is secondary. The status page is basic but functional. Note that the free plan prohibits commercial use.
Our free plan includes unlimited status pages with 25 monitors and 5-minute checks. Status pages update automatically based on your monitor results. No separate status page product to buy.
We're biased, obviously. The reason we built this: we wanted monitoring and status pages in one tool, free, with no commercial use restrictions. If you need more than 25 monitors or 1-minute checks, Pro is $10/mo for unlimited everything.
Startup with no budget: UptimeSignal (free, monitoring + unlimited status pages) or Cachet (free, self-hosted, no monitoring).
Want a Statuspage clone but cheaper: Instatus ($20/mo). Purpose-built status page with similar features at a quarter of the price.
Need incident management too: Better Stack ($29/mo). Monitoring, on-call scheduling, and status pages in one platform.
Full control, own your data: Cachet (free, open source). Be prepared to manage the hosting and updates yourself.
Enterprise with compliance needs: Stay on Atlassian Statuspage. The integrations with Jira, Opsgenie, and the rest of the Atlassian ecosystem are hard to replicate.
Unlimited status pages. 25 monitors. No credit card.
